United Way Anniversary Logo

Animation, Branding, Print

Description

CLIENT: United Way of Lower Mainland

For their 90 year anniversary, the United Way wanted a logo that both reflected their current branding and the organization’s history. Given that Vancouver was the site of the Expo in 1986,  I thought it would be appropriate to reference the overlapping numbers from the original Expo logo, as well as the rainbow graphic in the existing United Way logo. The result is a flexible logo that can be used in a variety of different functions: as an icon, a pattern, an animation, and for the tagline: 90 Years of Local love. Collateral included t-shirts, tote bags, and a time-line.
